It has been an entire month since Space Deer first got stuck in the sand. This is the end of the longest Space Deer story arc yet!

This one story only happened because my partner was so frustrated by not knowing how Space Deer would get out of the sand in that first strip.

When I showed her this strip she was frustrated by it just the same way as with the first one, but now she was concerned about the alien instead of Space Deer. She wanted to know how or if it would get out! It was her idea to put the alien in the final panel to remove any doubt about it getting out. I had just finished drawing it and felt so done with this story, but I had to admit she was right, cause that panel was a bit more dull without the alien appearing there. I'm glad I listened to her!
